Ustad Noor Bakhsh is an 80-year-old traditional musician hailing from Pakistan’s remote Balochistan region and plays an unusual instrument with keys the locals call a "Benju", originally a musical toy from Japan called taishōgoto that had been brought to Pakistan by sailors. His highly spiritual and uplifting sets are currently enchanting audiences all across Europe. He recently played at top festivals on the continent, like Le Guess Who? or Roskilde and sold out Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on his first ever UK appearance in March.
