Over from Bordeaux, Perry Gordon and his rhythm club (cornet, clarinet, banjo, double bass, washboard) will grace the Rose Hill for one night only with a raucous acoustic set.

Born out of the New Orleans jam sessions held in the cellar of an Absinthe bar in Bordeaux, Perry Gordon & His Rhythm Club are now well established on the Southern French hot jazz and blues scene playing regularly to a packed crowd in one of Bordeaux’s hippest Cocktail bars, le CanCan. 

Perry Gordon is the alter ego of former trumpeter for the West Country's most exclusive drinking club, The Zen Hussies and has spent the last 4 years enjoying the wine, sun and more wine in the French city of Bordeaux. Somehow he managed to stay sober long enough to organise Bordeaux's only New Orleans jazz jam session, from which he has hand picked the finest musicians the region has to offer to create his Rhythm Club.
