You’re invited to join the unforgettable CLUB TROPICALIA—a sensorial journey through Latin America and beyond, brought to life through genre-defying live music, surreal visuals, and dance floor devotion.
Dr. Santos is the new solo project from Luís Santos of dream pop trio All We Are. Now based in Brighton, the doctor delivers silky Brazilian grooves and melodies laced with a dose of Neo-Soul—designed to soothe heartache and lift spirits. Expect golden cloaks, tasty guitar licks, and an infectious energy that blurs the line between live show, DJ set, and a late-night tropical therapy session.
From Buenos Aires, Cheap Souvenir delivers a kaleidoscopic cabaret that sways between jazz, folk, and theatrical storytelling. Singer Jennifer Moule and pianist Nicolas Boccanera push the boundaries of performance through analog synths, cassette tapes, 1960s costuming, and retro visuals. Their playful, unpredictable set is part concert, part cinematic fever dream—elegant and unhinged in the best possible way.
Tying it all together is DJ Matt, a Brighton-based crate-digger with a flair for the unexpected. Known for marathon sets that move effortlessly from jazz to house to dreamy pop, Matt creates deep, soulful soundscapes that open up portals to somewhere warmer, wilder, and freer. Come ready to move—he’s bringing the dance floor to life, one vinyl gem at a time.
And as a surreal cherry on top: a screening of the short film “Sol y Oro”, by Las Papelonia (Argentina). The story of a family with giant heads and masks unfolds through dreamlike scenes that bend the rules of reality.
Let the vibes pour over you—CLUB TROPICALIA welcomes the curious, the joyful, and the rhythmically inclined.
