LUMA // 2 - Live film scoring

Luma returns to the Rose Hill for an evening of live film scoring and audiovisual performances. Four artists take us on weird and wonderful journeys through sonic and visual realms.


Caldera
German-born, Brighton-based Caldera, 1/3 of Riviera Club, part of Gardenn crew and 1BTN & Patterns resident will be bringing a rare and unique live set to Luma.

Akiko Haruna
Akiko Haruna is a sound designer and audiovisual artist, constructing experimental sound and vision for the moving image. Her works span the spectrum between avant-garde, classical and deconstructed club music.

Tura co.
Combining live looping with his own found sounds & samples, Tura co. creates expansive and evolving textured soundscapes.

They will also be screening work by Ed Hughes.
Ed Hughes is a composer and Professor of Composition in Music at Sussex University. His compositions have been described as ‘polyphonic, clear and unique’ (Richard Casey).
